Mark your calendars for the Art Festival at WGS on April 5th from 6-7:30 PM!
Art night at WGS is April 5th from 6-7:30 PM! This is a family event that will showcase student art and bring the community together for fun. There will be games, art maker stations and contests. Yes, parents can compete too! Each class is working on a collaborative art work that will be raffled off as a keepsake for the 2023-24 year. The attached is an example of Ms. Hansen's 2nd grade effort. Each child is included in the art work.
The event is free but a free will offering is welcome. Choose the activities you like and take home some fun crafts. Color on the community mural or sit down with the card trick guy. There might even be some giant puppets leading an art parade! This is our first Festival and we hope you'll put it on your calendar and help make it a success. All are welcome so bring your neighbors and friends. Proceeds raised will go to the Art Club and the Play and Learn Playground Project.
