The sixth graders were challenged with creating devices that showed different forms of potential energy. They came up with some creative solutions!

The sixth graders are learning about elastic and gravitational potential energies. Today we put those stored energy types to the test and built pumpkin catapults! 🎃

Today, Creede Repertory Theatre presented “Coyote and the Counting Game” to the WGS students. The students each received a book of “Coyote and the Counting Game” to take home and share with their families. WGS is lucky to be able to experience these awesome plays every year!
Students had a great Unity Week learning about kindness and the power they have to stand up to bullying! Fifth grade students had the chance to chalk up the sidewalk with kind messages and our lower elementary students engaged in kindness activities led by sixth grade ambassadors!
