I want to thank the Wiesner grant for the awesome new Gaga pit on our playground. The kids love it! Always packed during recess and they love playing during PE.

The 6th graders and kindergartners enjoyed book buddy time together!





Students in Mrs. Kauten's math classes worked on their math wheels today! These are tools/resources that they can keep with them for years to come to help refresh their memory on different math topics.

The 4th graders were given parts and challenged with the task of creating a circuit that would light up a bulb 💡 They were all successful and worked great together!

Congratulations to 2A for officially being accepted into the 2nd Grade Hero Training Program. This morning, headquarters surprised the kids and presented them each with letters of acceptance. The kids will work on leadership skills and academic studies throughout the school year.

2A has been learning lots about being heroes. They made Hulk Smash pudding to show that challenges lead to great accomplishments, masks so we have super hero vision making hard goals, shields to defend us from distractions, and capes to go above and beyond in all we do.











The 4th, 5th, and 6th graders had fun with team building and cooperation activities during the first couple days of school!

The first day of school is tomorrow. We are excited to see the children at WGS. Just a reminder that tomorrow is a full day of school, so we will be dismissing at 3:24.

Just a reminder students can bring their supplies tonight from 6:00-7:00 and meet their teachers. PTO will be selling ice cream treats as well.
