We still can't believe how successful this raffle was for our Playground Project. We are so grateful for all who participated. We are really looking forward to celebrating the raffle success with our WGS students soon! THANK YOU!
The Play and Learn Committee

The PTO and WGS students did an AMAZING job raising money to go to a new playground. Thanks to them and ALL of you for your support.

The fourth grade students did an AMAZING job of representing our school yesterday at Ag Day in Hays. They were attentive and respectful all day. Because they were such rockstars, Mrs. Kauten rewarded them with donuts this morning.

Today, the fourth graders traveled to Hays to learn all about our local agriculture.

WGS looked like a game of where's Waldo the last 2 days as we had a bunch of Steve and Monty look-a-likes walking around the building, many more than are pictured here. We are grateful for our wonderful custodians today and every day!

Happy National Custodians' Day!

The kids (and Mr. Befort) are loving our new gaga ball pit on the playground!

Upcoming events at the Ellis Public Library:

Fourth grade has been learning about light and sound. They visited different stations that included using cup phones, learning vocabulary, a compare and contrast activity, and reading an article. 🔊💡 I think the cup phone station was a favorite!
