Mason will wrestle for the championship tomorrow in Salina. He won his semi-finals match by a tech fall.
State Wrestling update. Callie lost her second match and has completed her season. Maleah lost her semi-finals match and will wrestle at 9:30am to determine if she’ll wrestle for 3rd/4th or 5th/6th. Kaydawn will have a rematch of the regional championship against Destiny Gonzalez of Goodland. Mason wrestles later today. Go Railers!

Update..Callie lost in the second round. Both Kaydawn and Maleah won round two and are state placers.
At the state wrestling tournament in Salina, Callie Priest, Maleah Vine, and Kaydawn Haag all pick up first round wins. Callie and Maleah both pinned their opponents and Kaydawn won 6-0. Way to go Railers!
Bond Update! There was a planning meeting to create a time line and to kick off the work to be done at Washington Grade School between USD 388, Davis Electric, DCS and Dean E. Norris Inc. Flooring work will begin over spring break to remove asbestos and then all other WGS projects will begin on May 16th. The grade school is scheduled to receive some new roofs, new flooring, and a new HVAC system. The Jr/Sr/ High School construction planning meeting will occur in April to outline the work for 2 new science rooms, new outside doors, and a secure entry. This work will be completed by the time school begins in August. Thank you Ellis for putting kids first!
