Due to the current cold temperatures and in the interest of ensuring the safety of our students and staff, we have decided to delay the school opening by 2 hours.
The delay will provide our staff with sufficient time to clear sidewalks and ensure a safe environment for everyone. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the well-being of our school community.

As the snowstorm persists, with ongoing high winds, significant drifting snow, and challenging road conditions that require additional time for clearing parking lots and ensuring safe access to the school premises, USD 388 will remain closed for a second day.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause, but the safety and well-being of our school community remain our top priority. We urge everyone to exercise caution when traveling and to prioritize safety during this period of challenging weather conditions.

Beginning January 1st 2024, membership to the USD 388 weight room will go from $10 to $20 per month. A letter with a new form will be mailed to all current membership holders in the next week. If you would like to become a new member, please fill out the attached form and drop off at the USD 388 district office or mail to PO Box 256, Ellis, KS 67637. There is also a drop box outside of the district office for your convenience.
