This week in Spirit Week and 8th grade Rocked it with Color Day winning the Junior High Spirit Stick.

The Railers failed to keep momentum, as untimely miscues led to big plays for the Monarchs on their way to a 35-0 victory. The team dug deep and picked up steam in the second half with some gritty effort. Homecoming is next week as we’ll welcome another MCL opponent in Phillipsburg.
A BENEFIT BBQ sponsored by the Ellis Co. Junior Free Fair has been scheduled along with Homecoming! The BBQ will be prior to the home football game on Friday, September 16th! Come Support!

Last night the JH Railer Football team beat the Stockton Tigers 58-40! The Railers are now 2-0.

Great effort at Webster Lake XC meet on a tough course and hot conditions. Avery Boydston and Macy Eberle placed 1st and 2nd while Austin Carrol placed 5th in the HS division. Ethan Carrol placed 2nd in HS JV and Aiden Ashenbrenner placed 1st in the JH

HS Varsity and JV hosted Norton and Russell. Norton defeated Ellis varsity in 2 sets 19-25 18-25. Norton JV defeated Ellis in 3 sets 17-25, 25-21, & 10-15. Ellis varsity defeated Russell in 2 sets 25-23 25-21
Ellis JV defeated Russel in 3 sets 19-25, 27-25, & 15-11. Go Railers!

English III students completed their study of Native American poetry and creation stories. In groups, they had to write their own creation stories and perform them in the customary way of Native American storytelling.
