Ellis High School/Junior High

Junior high  wrestling opened the season with matches at Oakley last Thursday. This was the first matches for many of the wrestlers. The teams involved were Hoxie, Rawlins County, Hill City, Norton, and the host Oakley team. No team scores were kept at the event. Carson Schartz and Mason Rohleder both started out the season strong by winning both of their matches. Kia Mader and Charli Arnold also were able to pick up wins at the event. This year’s team has 12 boys and 3 girls competing. This week the team will travel to Hill City for matches starting at 5:00 pm at Hill City High School. The home event for the team this season will be when we host the league tournament.
