The Ellis Junior High wrestling team hosted a scramble event attended by Trego, Oakley, Hoisington, Phillipsburg, and TMP.
At the event, Jack Reed, Carter Jimenez, and Myles Vine were able to win all three of their matches. Maggie Downing, Korbyn Kroeger, Kooper Hankins, Elijah Wagner, and Keliah Heit won two out of their three matches at the event. No teams scores were kept at the event. “We have been working on cutting down on our mistakes that have been costing us in the close matches and I feel that we were able to do that tonight.” This coming week we head to Stockton and wrap up our season on February 20th at the MCEL Tournament in Wakeeney.
