Tayler Schmidt, a junior at Ellis High School, auditioned for the Honors Performance Series on bass clarinet last spring. She was selected for the group and will be traveling to New York City for two performances at Carnegie Hall under the direction of renowned conductors. Tayler will leave on February 6th and will meet other finalists from around the world. During her trip, she will have rehearsals and enjoy sightseeing at famous landmarks, as well as the opportunity to see a Broadway show. She will also explore dining options, museums, and everything else the Big Apple has to offer! We are incredibly proud of you, Tayler, and hope you have an amazing experience!
